What are cookies?

These are text files that websites store on your computer or mobile device the moment you start using them. The site then remembers, for a certain period, the actions you performed on it and your preferences (e.g. login details, language, font size and other display preferences), so you do not have to enter this information again and using our website is easier and faster. Cookies also allow better use of our website and adapt its content to your interests and needs.

Cookies are divided into temporary and permanent. Temporary cookies are deleted once your visit ends and serve to retain data when moving from one page to another, so you do not have to enter it repeatedly. They make the website clearer and easier to understand, with greater security for users. Permanent cookies stay on your computer longer, allow you to customise our website and help us always respond to your needs as quickly as possible.

We further distinguish first-party cookies and third-party cookies. A first-party cookie is stored by a script running on the given domain (the one you see in your browser address bar). These cookies are considered safer, they pass more easily through various firewalls and the stricter security rules of some browsers. A third-party cookie is stored by a script loaded into the website from another domain. The same cookie can therefore be read in different places on the internet and used to track the user across domains. This solution is used by various systems for tracking browsing history, which for example allows more precise ad targeting.

According to the way they are used, we divide cookies mainly into technical (necessary) cookies, analytical cookies, and advertising and targeting cookies. Only for technical cookies is it not necessary to obtain the consent of the website visitor, on the basis of the legitimate interest of the website operator, because these cookies are needed for the proper functioning of the site.

You can disable the use of all cookies through your browser, but please bear in mind that our website may then no longer work properly.
